Movie Talk continued....

Well I figured I would add to the movie trivia, after reading Troy's, Jon Peddie,Shane, and Jason's blogs..So here goes it!!

What is the first film you ever saw?

The first movie I remember watching is Ghostbusters..As a kid my parents did try somewhat to guideline what we watched. So the obvious was to watch some films over and over again.I loved the car with all the flashing lights and sirens, the proton packs and ghost of course..Which probably answers the next question.

What is your favorite film of all time?

I loved Ghostbusters growing up..I would wear out the VHS tapes, had the action figures and the Ghostbuster birthday parties(As a kid of course)There really isn't much to explain why, just loved it as a kid and will continue to..

What is your favorite line in a film?

"Bunch of slack jawed faggots around here!..This stuff will make you a god damn sexual tyrannosaur, just like me! --Predator

What film made you realize that film was an art?

Most will think this is weird but I'm going to say The Professional..Gary Oldman is so sadistic in what he does, yes he is a corrupt cop and kills whomever gets in his way but he makes you understand why he does it..Then of course Jean Reno who kills for money(No women,No children)yet I was happy when he was blowing people away..It was my first film seeing the bad guy do something good yet still die, paying for his sins in a way I guess..

What movie do you consider your guilty pleasure?

Major League-Nothing like Charlie Sheen with a mowhawk throwing heat baby!!
I make a point to watch it before that start of every MLB season."Damn, Ive been cut already?!"-Wesley Snipes

Who is your favorite movie character of all time?

Robert De Niro in HEAT..His planning for robberies and the way he ruled his "gang"with an iron fist..

What is your favorite movie snack food?

Sour Patch Kids-Soda and sour patch kids is all I need..

Who is your favorite director?

Favorite is a strong word with this topic I think..I enjoy and look forward to Michael Bays movies, Peter Berg as well..Now I know they have made ones I don't like but I cant think of a director who's films I have all loved..I like these 2 alot because I know what to expect action wise..Most recently Transformers and The Kingdom, just movies I enjoy watching but not winning Oscars obviously..

Who is the most impressive filmmaker working today?

Christopher Nolan--I could be wrong but his last 3 were Batman Begins, The Prestige, and The Dark Knight..He is doing something right..

What quality do the best directors share?

The score!!..Alot of films have been ok to me but their music score is awesome so I get the feel of what the tension is during that scene or just gives the film a better feel or pace of where its going..

Who is your favorite actor/actress of all time?

Kurt Russell--I have enjoyed his movies ever since I saw him in "Big Trouble in Little China"..He also stars in my favorite western "Tombstone"

Who is your favorite actor/actress working today?

I know its going to be laughed at but I like Brad Pitt. Really looking forward to Inglorious Basterds..Others I think who will do good are Shia LeBouf and Emile Hirsch..

Who would you cast in a film about your life?

I guess Paul Walker?..I welcome other suggestions though..

Finish these sentences:

If you could remake one movie...Indiana Jones 4, Catwoman..X-Men 3..For some reason I see myself saying this about G.I. Joe as well...

I never wanna watch a movie with..Mothers who find it necessary to bring their 10 and under kids to Rated R horror films..

The perfect movie is...one that never gets old , no matter how many times you watch it..

"Ray has gone bye-bye, Egon. What do you got left?"

"I'm sorry, Venkman. I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought."

Aaaah! Nothing like a doofus walking up to the box office to see Scream and asking if it had sex in it! Didn't care about language or violence, but damn I'm not gonna let Dante see no sex!
